Sandgate CPZ Residents Parking Permits

With the extension to the Sandgate CPZ area “going live” on 11 December, a number of local residents have asked where they can get hold of forms to apply for Residents permits.

Each household and business in the area should have received a letter with details of how to apply, but the online form and guidance is available on the Shepway Council website at http://www.shepway.gov.uk/parking/permits

If you are unable to use the online process, you can download, print, complete and return the form below:

Kent Police Launch Online Crime and Non-injury Collision Reporting

The public can now report crimes and incidents as well as non-injury road traffic collisions ONLINE directly to Kent Police through their website (www.kent.police.uk). Once a report is made online, the user will receive a unique reference number and a return email confirming receipt.

Kent Police promoting both as a test/pilot at this stage. At the end of each form is the opportunity for the public making a report to give feedback on using the forms.

The overall aim is to provide another choice for how the public can report crime or incidents as well as try to reduce the number of people calling 101 on non-urgent issues that could easily be dealt with through digital contact (which increasingly a lot of people prefer and have asked for).
