There will be an evening service at 6.45pm at the Sir John Moore Memorial, on Sandgate Esplanade, when the beacon will be lit and the bells of St Paul’s will ring out as part of the nationwide commemorative event.

Holders, and relatives of holders of medals, are encouraged to wear these at both events.

Everyone is welcome to join the service at the Church, War Memorial, Sir John Moore Memorial or all three.
